Product Specialisation (Investment Banking) - Syndicated Loans is responsible for providing expert advice and knowledge to clients, in conjunction with relationship managers, sales, advisory, and other client facing staff, in their product specialization. Investment Banking covers activities related to financial advisory, capital raising, financing, and risk management services for corporations, governments, and financial institutions. The Leveraged Finance area is responsible for providing advice to clients on raising debt for acquisitions and leveraged buyouts, and/or refinancing and restructuring existing debt through high yield bonds, syndicated loans, and mezzanine financing.

1. Work closely with strategic decision makers of corporate/Institutional sponsors/clients in terms of executing and distributing syndicated loan financing facilities.
2. Coverage of potential syndicated loan partner institutions (lenders and fellow arrangers) in the Asia Pacific region.
3. Work closely with counterparts in LFG globally.
4. Further enhance the loan distribution capability/reach of the bank to allow for more effective derisking of underwrites as well as portfolio management.
5. Maintaining close relationship and coverage of syndicate partners.
6. Providing updates on syndicated loan market developments/changes.
7. Prepare call reports on investor meetings and any other relevant market insights.
8. Provide underwriting risk analysis/recommendation for underwriting opportunities.
9. Support & assist to win syndicated/coordinated club loan mandates in the region.
10. Supporting the execution of LFG Loan mandates.
11. Compliance with Credit, Risk and Compliance policies and procedures.

1. Min Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Admin/Economics or relevant concentrations.
2. At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the syndicated loan market, familiar with syndicated loan structuring/execution/documentation/distribution and credit analyses.
3. Strong credit sense and financial background.
4. Well connected with syndicate lenders and arrangers in the region.
5. Meticulous with an attention to detail in work, writing and financial analysis.
6. Independent worker who is reliable and able to find solutions and think out of the box.
7. A team player who is able and willing to work along with colleagues in the origination and RM teams.
8. Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
9. Well organised with a strong ability to prioritise various ongoing workstreams.
