A logistics company in Singapore is seeking an Executive - Procurement to develop strategies, manage vendor relations, and improve supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement or related fields and strong skills in Microsoft Office and SAP. Responsibilities include enhancing service quality, engaging in training, and supporting regulatory compliance.
Procurement
The Executive - Procurement supports the development of procurement strategies by monitoring inventory movement and reconciling supplies with established procedures. He/she performs forecasting, material planning and procurement functions in line with regulatory requirements, company’s Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance (ESG) guidelines and policies and supports vendor management based on established supplier selection processes and criteria. With a clear understanding of customers’ needs and expectations, the Executive - Procurement enhances service quality by identifying and recommending innovations to improve work processes and systems. He/she will support the implementation of technologies and leverage on data analytics to enable efficient green procurement operations.
He/she should possess strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver work outcomes. He/she is also expected to engage in training and performance improvement opportunities to meet individual and business key performance indicators.
