French Language Teacher
Job summary
A local educational institution in Singapore seeks a French Language Teacher. The role offers full-time and part-time options, with responsibilities including conducting lessons, assessing student performance, and preparing examination materials. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least 1 year of relevant experience. This position provides monthly salaries of $2600 to $3500 for full-time and $30-$40 per hour for part-time work.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and conduct lessons according to the course syllabus.
- Provide necessary supervision to the students.
- Schedule and prepare examination papers and assignments.
- Monitor the performance and progress of each student.
- Give feedback to Management about class performance.
- Mark and grade all course work and assignments.
- Give feedback on the course proceedings at the end of semester.
- Participate in programme review meetings.
Education
(Full Time) Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, 1 Sat per month 9am-1pm
(Part Time) 3-6 lessons per week (depending on timetable)
Salary range
(Full Time) $2600 to $3500 per month (commensurate with experience)
(Part Time) $30-$40 per hour (commensurate with experience)
- Prepare and conduct lessons according to the course syllabus and scheme of work
- Provide necessary supervision to the students and report students’ discipline issues to the Student Affairs staff
- Schedule and prepare examination papers and assignments
- Monitor the performance and progress of each student, including academic counselling
- Give feedback to Management about the continual improvement of the class performance
- Mark and grade all course work, assignments and examination papers
- Give feedback to Management on the course proceedings at the end of semester/course/modules
- Participate in programme review meetings
- Minimum a Bachelors Degree
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
