focuses on a range of engineering disciplines e.g. electrical, mechanical, chemical, civil, structural, automation and software engineering. The activities associated with project engineering include discipline engineering and design; planning, risk assessments; coordination of resources (personnel and equipment). Key areas of responsibility: Engineering development: Ensuring that engineering is developed with complete information and/or that all multidisciplinary information has been included. Leading development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges. Driving completion of all engineering activities on the project. Coordinating engineering discipline across several projects. Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities. Designing and conducting experiments, analyzing and interpreting the data. Preparing complete project documents in area of responsibility. May act as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completes engineering assignments for that discipline. Providing cost effective quality solutions and delivering within budget and contract. Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks. Creating work plans and cost estimates. Reviewing and approving scope, budget and schedule for assignments. Interacts directly with customers, officials, contractors and supply chain.
You will coordinate engineering discipline across several projects, provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities, design and conduct experiments, analyzes andinterprets data, prepare complete project documents in one’s area of responsibility, serve asa specialist in application of advanced concepts and methods, assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc).
You will support Contract Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.), provide cost effective quality solutions as per customer requirement and delivers within budget and contract, ensure adherence to safety standards andmitigation of potential risks.
You will create work plans and cost estimate in own area of responsibility and ensure quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost, improve effectiveness of work plan in collaborationwith other functions, complete risk and opportunity assessments and ensure implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility, report any contract / quality / program / cost issues to management along with recommendations for resolution.
You will interact with customers, officials, contractors and others, attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments, collaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed to with potential suppliers, provide technicalevaluation of supplier proposals and accept as fit for purpose supplied equipment or services.
You will maintain network of engineering professionals and share engineering best practice acrossdifferent projects and disciplines, use standard processes and tools applicable to one’s area of responsibility, ensure that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements, report processes and tools inefficiencies and suggest improvements ideas.
You will coach, provide support and technical advice to colleagues, assign tasks for and directsengineers, technicians and administrative staff, may functionally lead a small team.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

You hold a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
Familiar with high voltage switchgear engineering, protection relays, related international standards and Singapore codes such as SS638.
Capability in system study includes short circuit study, load flow study, coordination study, using software such as ETAP and SKM.
Consultancy experience is an advantage.
Proficiency English communication.
