Job summary
A food packaging company in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician to install, service, and maintain food packaging machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on experience in the food industry, at least 8 years in machinery repair/maintenance, and a valid Class 3 Manual Driving License. The role involves troubleshooting machine errors, coordinating logistics, and onboarding new staff with a focus on teamwork and customer feedback monitoring.
Qualifications
- Hands-on repair and food industry experience required.
- Must have a Class 3 Manual Driving License.
- At least 8 years of experience in Machinery Repair/Maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain food packaging and processing machines.
- Troubleshoot machine errors when problems arise.
- Work closely with logistics on installation and parts delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers for parts logistics.
- Monitor and report customer feedback.
- Design training plans for new employee onboarding.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Skills
Education
Candidates should be a team player with good analytical skills, with a deep understanding of both Mechanical and Electrical processing technologies in the Food industry.
You will be working with our team:
- Installing, servicing, and maintenance of food packaging and food processing machines
- Troubleshooting machine errors when problems arise
- Work closely with logistics department on machine installation and parts delivery
- Liaising with suppliers for parts-related logistics matters
- Monitor and report Customer feedback
- Design training plans for onboarding of new employees
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Hands-on repair and food industry experience required
- Driving License: Class 3 Manual Car
- Preferred Skill: Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
- At least NiTEC/Higher NiTEC/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
- Ideally at least 8 Year(s) of experience in Machinery Repair/Maintenance
- Must be willing to travel for overseas assignments
