Responsibilities:
Developing detailed engineering specifications, datasheets, and documentation for instrumentation and control systems. This includes instrument selection, loop diagrams, P&IDs, cable schedules, and termination drawings.
Overseeing all aspects of instrumentation and control engineering projects, from initial design through to commissioning and start-up. This includes planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Applying in-depth knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, control valves, PLCs, and DCS systems.
Evaluating vendor proposals, reviewing vendor drawings, and managing vendor interfaces throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensuring all instrumentation and control systems comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. Participating in HAZOP studies and other safety reviews.
Providing technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance of existing instrumentation and control systems.
Mentoring junior engineers, providing technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Interfacing with clients, project teams, and site representatives to ensure project requirements are met.
