Assistant Manager
Job summary
A leading construction company in Singapore is looking for a seasoned construction manager to oversee the planning and execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Responsibilities include managing site operations, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role offers a chance to lead projects and make a significant impact on our success.

- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and materials.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to meet project milestones.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site.
- Manage site personnel including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Prepare progress reports, budgets, and cost estimates.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to meet project milestones.
Plan and handle all accounts related work
Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Manage site personnel including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with building codes, regulations, and company standards.
Prepare progress reports, budgets, cost estimates, and resource plans.
Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory authorities, and internal departments.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols and risk assessments.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Accountancy, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building or civil construction, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management software.
