Job summary
A precision engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to interpret technical drawings, operate CNC machines, and perform various machining tasks. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in G-code programming and experience in product finishing processes. Strong adherence to safety standards is essential. Opportunities for continuous process improvement are encouraged.
Qualifications
- Proficient in manual programming using G-code for various designs and materials.
- Experience in CNC machining and product finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with safety and health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Comply with the company’s safety and health regulations.
- Interpret technical drawings and produce products accordingly.
- Perform programming/modifications on the CNC machine.
- Conduct in-process inspections on machined parts.
Skills
Tools
- Comply to company’s safety and health regulations, and policy.
- Interpret technical drawings and produce the product accordingly.
- Perform program/changed in the CNC machine when required.
- Perform product finishing using Gun drill and Milling machine inclusive of:
- Thermowell (flange and track) to drill the fitting and hole
- Tapping track
- Perform Hydrotest on finished product.
- Perform engraving of the manufactured information (e.g.: material used) onto the finished product using the Punching machine.
- Perform grinding and polishing
- Perform engineering related jobs such as multiple point sensor and chamber.
- Perform in-process inspection on machining parts using available equipment.
- Responsible to maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area.
- Initiate and suggest continuous improvement ideas to improve process, productivity and quality.
- Must be proficient in manual programme using G-code for variety of designs and materials.
- Perform work related duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
