Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Process Engineer in Singapore to oversee process yield controls and improvements. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 2 years' experience in Optical or CNC manufacturing. Key responsibilities include handling day-to-day quality issues and supporting new product qualifications. This role requires strong knowledge of precision machining and a commitment to continuous improvement. The position is 100% onsite and includes an overseas training opportunity.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant work experience as Process Engineer in Optical/CNC manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with 6 Sigma, PFMEA, DOE, and SPC tools.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Process Yield Controls and Improvement.
  • Handle quality issues and ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
  • Involved in Quality & Innovation projects for continuous improvement.
  • Support new product qualification and design fixturing.
  • Manufacturing Efficiency Improvement and Operation Support.
  • Process Documentation and Auditing compliance with ISO requirements.

Skills

Knowledge in ultraprecision Diamond Turning or CNC Machining
Statistical Process Control knowledge
Ability to methodize and improve production processes
Well developed oral and written communication skills
Proven tools, jigs and fixture design capabilities
Strong interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
