ARTDIS (Singapore) Ltd. (formerly known as Very Special Arts Singapore Ltd) is the leading charity for arts and disability in Singapore. Serving over 800 beneficiaries/artists with disabilities in each year, we champion arts access and professional development for persons with disabilities. Founded in 1993, we promote visual, performing and literary arts, and have different developmental pathways such as foundational regular classes, progressing into industry mentorship programmes and showcase opportunities. www.artdis.org.sg
Key Roles & Responsibilities
· Support the planning, production and implementation of exhibition(s) organised by ARTDIS, including but not limited to coordination and cataloguing of artworks, supporting exhibition set up, preparation of communications material and content.
· Liaison with ARTDIS community of 80 – 100 artists to provide regular communication updates and work opportunities
· Liaison with patrons and art collectors for sale of artworks
· Project manage collaboration projects with various partners ranging from community, corporate and corporate organisations
· Provide artwork inventory and archiving support of artworks exhibited by, and consigned with ARTDIS
Role Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Arts Management or Related Visual Arts adjacent field
2. Experience in working with Persons with Disabilities
3. Experience in event/ project management
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills
5. Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills
6. Ability to speak English, Mandarin and Bahasa is an advantage as we work with a diverse range of senior artists.
