The candidate will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of Digital Systems BA. This position is responsible for leading the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic plans to drive business growth. He/she will work closely with senior stakeholders and look across the digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Cloud, Cyber, 5G, AR/VR and Unmanned in support of the strategy implementation of the various Lines of Business.

· Lead the development of strategic plan, including market analysis, competitive assessment, technology trend and growth opportunities.
· Provide insights and recommendation to senior management on market opportunities and potential risk
· Collaborate with LOB business leaders and functional teams to align divisional strategies with overall ST Engineering objectives.
· Identify and evaluate potential mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures to support strategic growth.
· Establish key performance indicators to track progress against strategic objective and prepare regular reports on strategic plans progress, performance and key issues
· Candidate will work closely with ST Engineering’s M&A/Ventures team to validate the business opportunity and establish a M&A / investment case. Knowledge in finance, financial modelling and handling intellectual property are an added bonus.
Qualities We Value
· A minimum 5 years of relevant experience
· Strong knowledge of the digital technology landscape, trends and market dynamics
· Excellent analytical skills, being able to digest large amounts of data (numerical and text)
· Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
· Familiarity with defence, public safety and government related industry.
· Collaborative – able to lead deliverables and collaborate across the team.
