Group Operations enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• Check and approve all Fixed Deposit transaction submitted by both internal & external parties.
• Ensure pre-processing checks such as Phone/Fax Indemnity, verification of client's signature, Internal DOA, account balances, account status are in order before execution.
• Authorize and approve scanned instructions to Payment Ops.
• Ensure day end completeness check for all transaction process.
• Assist on ad-hoc project e.g., new product launch, UAT, LV testing (if any).
• Check and approve all Incoming & Outgoing payment related to Fixed Deposit transaction via AMH.
• Process/Check of SRS Fixed Deposit Placement/Withdrawal.
• Archival of documents to send for storage.
• Identify process gap and always look out for opportunities to streamline processes.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma with 2 years relevant experience in a banking environment.
• Basic knowledge of accounting, payment systems, trade settlement & process re-engineering.
• Able to work on ad-hoc duties on weekends (UAT, LV testing, DR drills).
• Able to travel between alternate site DAH and DAG for split Ops and job rotation purpose.
• Customer oriented - Able to communicate/handle both internal/external customer on the day-to-day BAU process.
