Job summary
A fast-growing organization in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage full sets of accounts and support various finance activities. The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of experience in Singapore accounting, strong finance skills, and is comfortable working with Chinese stakeholders. Qualifications
- 4-6 years of accounting experience in Singapore.
- Strong experience in Singapore and SEA finance.
- Experience in Chinese companies or multinational firms preferred.
Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, tax filings, and audit matters.
- Prepare financial reports ensuring compliance with Singapore accounting standards.
Skills
We are hiring an experienced Accountant on behalf of our client, a fast-growing organisation with regional operations.
- Handle full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, tax filings (GST, corporate tax), and audit matters.
- Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards.
- Liaise closely with the China-based finance team and handle related financial documentation.
- 4-6 years of accounting experience in Singapore.
- Strong experience in Singapore and SEA finance, including AP, AR, GL, tax, and treasury.
- Comfortable working with Chinese stakeholders; Mandarin proficiency strongly preferred.
- Experience working in Chinese companies or multinational environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with senior management from China; comfortable reporting to a CN-based FC.
- Good adaptability and willingness to learn EU/US finance processes.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
