Overview

VP/Director - Transaction Management & Legal (Financial Institution). Our client, a leading Global Financial Institution, is seeking a highly motivated legally trained professional to join the financial products transaction team. This is a newly created role with best in class onboarding and training. You will be part of a team supporting the group on managing legal transaction management to specialised Asia focused debt structured products, including structuring of transactions (derivatives), negotiation of transaction documents and managing transactions to completion.

Responsibilities

• Support the group on managing legal transaction management to specialised Asia focused debt structured products, including structuring of transactions (derivatives), negotiation of transaction documents and managing transactions to completion.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law with at least 8-10 years working in a law firm focused on derivatives banking instruments or debt securitization, DCM.
• Strong execution experience – assisting with negotiating deal specific legal documentation (structured note documentation, loan agreements, term sheets, NDAs and mandate letters).
• Good knowledge and understanding of Banking Act, SFA, Financial regulatory requirements.
• Strong verbal, written communication skills and analytical skills.
