Overview

Location: Tampines East Zone or other island-wide onsite facilities. This is a short-term project with government clearance requirements.

Opportunity

Position: Wall to Wall Technician - IT Support (35 vacancies)

Working Days: 5

Mon-Fri: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Basic: $2400 – $2600 (Capped)

Fixed Allowances: $50 (Mobile HP)

Note: G50 Clearance required (Govt project – 3 months)

Related Experience: 6–12 months Desktop/Helpdesk/IT Support

Communication Skill: At least average 6–7 out of 10; self-assessed clarity and smooth communication will suffice.

Wall-to-Wall Scope of Work

1. Inventory Checks – Perform inventory checks on existing equipment using the provided inventory list, verifying serial numbers and models for both Network and Server equipment.
2. Power Supply Validation – Validate the power supply to ensure it is connected to an A and/or B source for dual power equipment, or to a UPS for single power equipment. Validation should be performed within the rack; no need to touch anything below the rack.
3. Port Utilization Check – Validate and compute the number of utilized and unutilized spare ports on switches and routers.
4. Location Verification – Confirm that the physical location of each piece of equipment matches the information in the inventory and rack diagrams.
5. Equipment Discovery & Decommissioning – Add newly discovered equipment to the inventory list, and record items that should be decommissioned based on their location found during checks.
6. Asset Tag Replacement – Replace or add asset tag stickers to equipment if they are broken or faded.
7. Inventory & Rack Diagrams Update – Consolidate and update the inventory list and rack diagrams daily, ensuring they are fully updated by the end of the inventory check exercise.
