Job summary

A leading food service company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage daily operations of an outlet. You will oversee manpower planning, ensure high customer satisfaction, and maintain food quality. Ideal applicants should have a Degree or Diploma and prior supervisory experience in the service industry. The role requires strong management skills, good interpersonal abilities, and a passion for food service. Availability for 6-day work weeks is essential.

Job Description

This position is responsible for the daily operations of an outlet, including manpower planning, performance management, oversee the inventory and ordering of food supplies, optimising profits, customers relations and ensuring high customer service standards.

  • Manage all aspects of outlet to deliver efficient, quality and profitable service.
  • Ensure consistent high quality of menu planning, food preparation and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards as well as safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Increase outlet revenue, manage food cost and outlet expenditure to ensure profitability.
  • Promptly resolve customer complaints and/or feedback on food quality and service.
  • Maintain and ensure timely replenishment of food needs ordering and delivery.
  • Manage manpower planning which includes daily decision making and scheduling.
  • Lead, encourage and motivate the team to develop service excellence culture and teamwork in the workplace.
  • Conduct on-site orientation which includes safety & hygiene, and on-the-job training for new employees.
Job Requirements
  • A Degree, Diploma, Higher Nitec or Nitec in any discipline
  • Mid-career individuals with supervisory working experience in service-related industry
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills at all level
  • Responsible, good organising & problem solving skills, and resourceful to deliver results
  • Strong passion for delighting customers and with an interest in food service environment
  • Able to work 6 days’ work per week, public holiday and weekends depending on the assigned outlet operating hours.
