The Job:

• Carry out daily collection of general waste and recyclable materials from premises as assigned. Ensure timely and efficient service according to route schedules.
• Maintain awareness of proper disposal protocols to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Safely operate basic mechanical equipment installed on collection trucks. Assist drivers with navigation and maneuvering in tight or high-traffic areas.
• Keep collection vehicles and equipment clean and in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), proper lifting techniques, and traffic safety procedures during collection rounds.

The Requirements:

• Basic English Communication
• Willingness to work a 6-day week with rotating rest days, including weekends and public holidays if scheduled.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy bins, walking long distances, and working in outdoor environments under various weather conditions.
• Open to working in the Waste Management Industry, which may involve exposure to unpleasant odors, dirty environments, and handling of non-hazardous waste.
• Adhere to company policies, environmental regulations, and safety standards. A responsible attitude toward public hygiene and environmental sustainability is expected.
