Job summary

A trading company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage daily reporting processes of trading positions and P&L. Key responsibilities include collaborating with traders to resolve discrepancies, supporting market analysis, and enhancing trading processes. The ideal applicant has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics, at least one year of work experience in the oil trading field, and is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.

Job description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Running the daily processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the trading position and P&L to Trading team and other key stakeholders
  • Work with clearing brokers to ensure that trades are matched and accurately reflected on trade date
  • Collaborate closely with traders to investigate and resolve any P&L discrepancies or trade booking issues
  • Contribute to market analysis, reports, and presentations
  • Assist in analysis of trading performance, P&L attribution, and risk metrics
  • Continuous improvement of related processes around trade booking, position and P&L reconciliation processes through enhancements
  • Provide administrative support to the trading department
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • One year’s work experience in oil trading industry or in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Good drafting and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin
