Responsibilities
  • Ensure familiarity and compliance with classification rules for all assigned vessels.
  • Maintain vessels in full operational readiness and in line with required technical standards at all times.
  • Oversee compliance of vessels with rules, regulations, and requirements.
  • Manage vessel downtime effectively to minimize delays and restore operational status quickly.
  • Monitor vessel performance and implement actions to improve efficiency.
  • Plan and oversee scheduled and unscheduled docking of vessels in a timely manner.
  • Handle and follow up on ship-related matters, including third-party claims.
  • Collaborate with the HSSE team on incident investigations and assist in finalizing reports.
  • Provide regular feedback and updates during company meetings.
  • Maintain a responsible, professional, and collaborative working attitude.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Engineering or recognized degree in Maritime Studies (or related qualification).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Willingness to undertake short overseas assignments.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to handle challenging situations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
