• Plan, coordinate, and monitor production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety and quality standards such as HACCP, GMP, ISO22000.
• Manage and maintain all technical systems and processes, including kitchen equipment operation.
• Supervise, train, and manage production and QA staff.
• Monitor and manage raw material inventory levels and reduce waste production.
• Maintain proper documentation and analyze production data.

Job description

• Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and monitor production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize efficiency. This includes overseeing the preparation and production of all food items according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Quality Assurance & Food Safety: Ensure strict compliance with food safety and quality standards such as HACCP, GMP, ISO22000, and local regulations like those from the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). This involves managing quality systems, conducting hygiene inspections, and handling quality issues and customer complaints with corrective actions.
• Technical & Operational Oversight: Manage and maintain all technical systems and processes, including kitchen equipment operation and repair, and potentially automation projects. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and enhance overall product consistency.
• Team Leadership & Training: Supervise, train, and manage production and quality assurance (QA) staff, fostering a collaborative and safe team environment. This may include addressing training needs and enforcing performance standards.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor and manage raw material inventory levels, reduce waste production, and potentially manage the department's budget or P&L.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain proper documentation, records, and audit reports, and analyze production data to provide reports on performance metrics.
