A leading biotechnology company in Singapore seeks an experienced professional to lead large-scale research and technical development projects. Candidates with a strong background in technical innovation, project management, and effective communication, along with significant relevant experience, are encouraged to apply. Position Responsibilities:
• Leads and executes large-scale, multi-disciplinary research, technical development, or product development projects, plans project level activities and budgets and drives prioritization of activities.
• Influences technical direction across multiple projects which impact technology, processes and products and identifies and owns functional development initiatives and drives efficiencies and effectiveness in organization.
• Drives innovation to solve technically complex problems at departmental level.
• Submits invention disclosures or innovative ideas for technology processes and products, guides others in the submission process.
• Leads major core teams and consistently delivers novel solutions to significant technical challenges outside of core teams and identifies the need for (and leads) technical change in response to internal and external factors.
• Coaches project team members and mentors emerging technical leaders.

Position Requirements:
• Expert within own discipline with significant knowledge outside discipline.
• Recognizes issues, problems, or opportunities and determines when action is warranted.
• Productive and effective written and verbal communication of observations and technical findings and progress required; ability to communicate business and technical risks and recommendations to a multi-disciplinary team; ability to manage technical confrontation is required.

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:
• Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
