Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Sales Manager with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. You will lead a sales team, define strategies, build client relationships, and oversee the sales process. Strong sales skills and knowledge of ACMV or HVAC systems are preferred. Responsibilities
  • Lead & Develop Team: Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to the maintenance sales team. Foster collaboration and continuous improvement through training and development.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Work with senior management to define sales strategies, set goals, identify target markets, and adjust tactics based on market trends and competitor activity.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key clients, understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Business Development: Drive efforts to expand the client base and market presence by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Sales Execution: Oversee the full sales cycle—from lead generation and proposal creation to negotiation and contract closure—ensuring smooth and effective execution.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and KPIs, and report insights to senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (technical, operations, marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Budget & Forecasting: Assist in managing sales budgets, forecasting revenue, and controlling expenses.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at events and trade shows to promote services and build new connections.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine sales processes and customer engagement strategies to improve efficiency and results.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Support additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements
  • Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in ACMV or HVAC systems is advantages.
  • Possessed strong sales skills including prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of maintenance contracts to meet client needs.
