Job summary

A leading tech company in Singapore is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines. You will integrate data using Informatica IDMC and mentor team members. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of data engineering experience and strong SQL skills. A degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required. Job description

Role & Responsibilities

• As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using IDMC CDI.
• Integrate data from various sources, leveraging Informatica IDMC for data integration, transformation, and governance
• Use IDMC as a platform for end-to-end Data Management including Data Integration, Data Quality and Metadata Management.
• Mentor and Guide Team members in adhering to standards and best practices by continuous review of their work.
• Work with other teams/vendors for successful implementation of the solution.
• Strong Experience with DataStage or PowerCenter is an added advantage
• Working Knowledge of MicroStrategy or Tableau is desirable

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, Data Warehousing, ETL pipeline building using INFORMATICA PowerCenter/DEI and Informatica IDMC.
• At least 5 years of working experience with cloud Data warehouses such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery etc.
• Very Strong working experience in SQL and Procedural SQL (for e.g PL/SQL or T-SQL etc.)
• Understanding and working on experience in large Data Warehouse/Data Lake implementation covering all phases of SDLC.
• Hands on experience in Informatica IDMC as a Platform for creating mappings, workflows, Data Quality Rules, Secure Agents setup etc
• Sound knowledge of Data Quality and Data Governance concepts
• Strong interpersonal communication skills combined with Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• INFORMATICA Practitioner or Professional certification on IDMC Services is an added advantage.
