Job summary

A prominent banking institution in Singapore is seeking a Loans Officer to expertly handle financial analysis and credit assessment for loan facilities. You will support compliance and KYC matters, liaising closely with internal auditors and external entities. Candidates should possess at least 5 years of credit analysis experience and a relevant degree. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaboration with the Head Office in Taiwan and Taiwanese clients.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in credit analysis for syndication and bilateral loans.
• Solid knowledge of syndicated loan structures, credit risk management, and KYC requirements.
• Willingness to share experience and provide on-the-job guidance to other team members.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work with Head Office in Taiwan and Taiwanese clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial analysis and credit assessment for bilateral and syndicated loan facilities.
• Review credit-related contracts and legal documentation.
• Support the development, enhancement and periodic review of SOPs and credit-related policies.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on credit, KYC and compliance-related matters.
• Handle customer KYC matters, including onboarding and periodic CDD reviews.
