Job Title: Sales Executive (Japanese Sake / Japanese Speaking)

Monthly Salary: Basic UP to $4,000 (Negotiable) + Commission

Responsibilities and duties

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth of Japanese Sake, identifying and developing new business opportunities with Japanese-speaking clients, and maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts in Singapore. In addition to covering Japanese clients, the same person would have the opportunity to generate revenue from non-Japanese clients as well. This role plays a key part in achieving sales targets, fostering partnerships with both Japanese and international businesses, and expanding the company\'s presence in Singapore\'s diverse business community.

  • Manage sales activities targeting Japanese corporations, restaurants, retail businesses, and other Japanese enterprises in Singapore
  • Develop and pursue business opportunities with non-Japanese clients including local Singaporean, regional Asian, and international companies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both Japanese-speaking and English-speaking clients to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Singapore\'s Japanese business community and broader market segments
  • Act as the primary liaison for Japanese clients, providing exceptional customer service in Japanese language
  • Conduct sales presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions in both Japanese and English depending on client requirements
  • Stay informed about Japanese business culture, market trends, and competitor activities to effectively position company services
  • Adapt sales approach and communication style to suit different cultural backgrounds and business practices
  • Handle inquiries, sales quotations, proposals, and contract management for both Japanese and non-Japanese accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery to all clients
  • Attend business networking events, trade shows, and community gatherings to build relationships across diverse markets
  • Provide market insights and feedback on both Japanese and general market client needs and preferences
  • Support the development of marketing materials and communications in multiple languages as needed
  • Other ad-hoc assignments as required
Essential Requirements
  • Japanese language proficiency required to effectively communicate with Japanese-speaking clients and conduct business negotiations
  • Strong English proficiency required for effective communication with diverse client base
