- The Marketing Manager owns all the TMTI APAC initiatives related to positioning of technology, market development, planning and execution, and is a key contributor to achievement of business objectives for the TMTI franchise.
- The TMTI Marketing Manager is responsible for the APAC rollout of the TMTI franchise strategy and the professional in-depth application support for Sales & Clinical teams across APAC to achieve the franchise growth and development and revenue / gross margin target achievements.
- Identify relevant market trends and new business opportunities for future growth.
- The TMTI Marketing Manager must update and maintain the TMTI market model and market analysis, marketing plans and activities that optimize competitive differentiation, patient benefit and value proposition including long-term planning.
- He/she will work closely with counterparts in countries and globally to leverage best practices and ensure the organization’s alignment and achievement of the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion opportunities and needs in Asia Pacific by providing regular, evidence-based input to Regional Management and Global Marketing, identifying and securing opportunities for expansion and greater success in Asia Pacific, for both existing and pipeline products.
- Provide leadership to all in-house functions contributing to the portfolio, including Public Affairs, MarCom, Finance, Clinical, Quality, and Regulatory, ensuring awareness and alignment for achievement of product-specific business objectives.
- Drive cross-functional teams to develop Asia Pacific-specific strategies and plans for new product launches including market analysis, clinical strategy, reimbursement strategy, education and training, product positioning and messaging.
- Develop and oversee execution of the marketing plan. This includes defining and segmenting markets; targeting and positioning; and all aspects of the marketing mix (product; supply chain/distribution; price; and integrated marketing/promotion).
- Set appropriate KPIs (leading KPIs, activity KPIs, clinical KPIs and performance KPIs), analyze data and track to take timely corrective actions as necessary.
- Leverage customer relationships, technical expertise, and product knowledge to plan and coordinate new launches, and provide the sales team with appropriate messaging, campaigns and tools highlighting objective, relevant differentiation.
- Develop promotional tools and optimize others provided by Global Marketing; launch with appropriate localization, training, and tracking.
- Create open, productive lines of communication between the sales and clinical team and all other areas that affect the product: Regional Management and Global Marketing; RA; QA; Supply Chain, etc.
- Provide clinical and sales staff with clinical knowledge and promotional guidance, ensuring products are targeted appropriately to satisfy customer needs and expectations.
- Stay up to date on key publications, trials, indications, society guidelines, and market dynamics and reflect to the communication / marketing strategy.
- Building relationship with KOLs across the region
- Manage the marketing activities within the assigned OPEX budget and collaborate with Finance for the franchise budget management.
- Strictly follow compliance guidelines and policies when conducting business
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree from a certified university in sciences, business, or engineering with Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales and marketing role with a multinational company with 2 or more years in regional roles; demonstrated ability to motivate and influence diverse, high performing country marketing teams
- Preference will be given to candidates with general medical and medical device knowledge, product specific medical and medical device knowledge with adequate work experience.
- Relevant industry experience: Transcatheter / Cardiology Product experience with an established, positive reputation in the market is a definite plus
- Experience working in a highly regulated and high-quality system environment. Compliance with governmental regulations is required.
- Excellent understanding of regulatory, QA and legal policies/environment that govern our processes
- Candidates with a consulting background is also a plus.

- Natural abilities (team player, stress resistant, discretion, open minded) to manage two big franchises that are major revenue contributors for the BU in the region.
- Experience in managing multiple projects at the same involving senior stakeholder management is a plus.
- English (and another language if possible from one of the Asian countries is a plus), Microsoft Windows and Office (WORD, PowerPoint, Excel, ThinkCell), etc.
- Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time.
