Job summary

A food consulting company in Singapore is seeking a Food Technologist / Senior Food Technologist. Responsible for R&D and developing new food products for the baking industry, this role requires substantial experience in flour milling and bakery. The ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in food science, baking cake experience, and will be involved in on-site trouble shooting, technical support, and innovative product development through collaboration with sales. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in R&D for Food Technologist role.
  • 5+ years of experience in R&D for Senior Food Technologist role.
  • Able to travel overseas for projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new food improvers, formulations, and applications.
  • Conduct live demonstrations for bakery seminars.
  • Assist with queries related to food emulsifiers.
