Job Summary

Responsible for developing sourcing strategies across all categories—including Facilities, IT, Repair & Maintenance, equipment, and parts—to ensure contracts deliver optimized cost, quality, terms, and service. The role also supports continuous improvement of procurement processes, supplier evaluations, and risk‑management practices, while ensuring full compliance with corporate purchasing policies and local authority regulations for indirect purchases.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Source and develop alternative suppliers upon receiving RFQs from internal stakeholders to mitigate supply risks.
  • Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and manage price increases while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Review quotation and contract terms, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best outcomes for the company.
  • Resolve supply‑related issues such as damaged cargo, shipment delays/early arrivals, and payment verifications with the Accounting Department within the job scope.
  • Conduct supplier audits, evaluations, and periodic performance reviews to ensure compliance with company requirements.
  • Support supplier risk‑management activities, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating procurement‑related risks.
  • Draft and refine contract agreements for managerial approval where applicable.
  • Process daily purchase orders, follow up on confirmations, handle amendments, and coordinate specification or drawing changes with internal departments while adhering to purchasing protocols.
  • Prepare summary reports and handle any ad‑hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualification

Degree preferred, ideally with a technical background.

Experience
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in an MNC within the electronics industry.
  • Experience in supplier audits and evaluations.
  • Experience in risk management within procurement or supply chain environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with a collaborative mindset.
  • Problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to preventing errors.
  • Basic working knowledge of SAP.
