As a Technician lll, Production Technical Operations under DSM Flex Production you will be involved in Production Maintenance activities. To drive consistency, quality, productivity, efficiency and improvements in DSMFlex Production Operations including areas such as training, maintenance, lot changes, procedures and systems so as to achieve site targets.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Oversee training and maintenance activities in DSMFlex production to ensure efficiency and quality of work are met.
• Set up or improve training and maintenance procedures, packages, OJT forms, PM checklists, etc to ensure training and maintenance targets are met.
• To lead and provide coaching to existing and new production technicians when required.
• Ensure production operations are in compliance with GMP, regulatory and safety requirements
• Ensure an optimal production performance by maintaining a strong relationships and good collaboration with cross-function teams.
• Perform non-conformance investigation for any deviation in manufacturing and ensure timely closure of non-conformance record
• To lead improvement initiatives with impact to quality or safety, cost reduction, capacity improvement, OEE, productivity, etc through programmers such as Simplify, Kaizen, FAST and CIP.
• Any other job assignments as required by immediate superior from time to time.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or related field
• 1 -3 Years of experience working in manufacturing with experience working in production
• Those without experience can be considered as training will be provided
• Working hours: Mon- Fri 830am-530pm
• Transport provided from Boon Lay, Outram Park and Kranji MRT
