Job summary

A leading energy provider in Singapore is looking for a techno-functional lead for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems. You will be responsible for leading the upgrade of SAP-ECC to SAP S/4HANA and managing design and development of planning solutions. The ideal candidate has proven EPM solution architecture experience, strong knowledge in SAP FICO, and excellent leadership skills. This role requires optimizing data models and providing ongoing support for SAP BPC systems, all within a collaborative business environment.

Job description

What You’ll Do

• Techno-functional lead for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems (Financial Consolidation & Group Reporting and Budgeting/Planning)
• Techno-functional lead for SAP FICO modules and be part of the project team implementing the upgrade of SAP-ECC to SAP S/4HANA
• Lead and manage the design and development of end-to-end planning and consolidation solutions; inclusive of evaluation and assessment of the software platform/solutions to replace the current SAP-BPC systems
• Collaborate with the business for user requirements, carry out system and impact analysis and implement IT solutions by bridging business needs with technical capabilities
• Provide hands-on technical expertise in EPM concepts such as financial consolidation, planning, forecasting, and reporting with SAP BPC
• Support business to ensure BAU operations run smoothly on the SAP BPC and SAP FICO systems
• System maintenance and provide ongoing technical support for SAP BPC and SAP FICO systems
• Establish standards for Script Logic, EPM templates, and transports
• Optimize Business Warehouse (BW) data models and ETL for performance and scalability
• Implement complex BAdIs and custom ABAP routines
• Lead performance tuning, audits, and compliance checks
• Mentor team members and manage stakeholder expectations

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience in EPM solution architecture and implementation, with a track record of delivering large-scale projects
• Strong knowledge of EPM concepts (planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation) and financial/accounting principles
• Strong knowledge of the SAP-BPC EPM software platform. Proficiency with additional EPM software platforms (e.g.SAP-SAC, Anaplan, OneStream etc) will be an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with data modeling and integration patterns
• Familiarity with cloud architecture principles and security best practices is required
• Expert in SAP BPC administration and multi-model architecture
• Advanced Script Logic and BAdI development
• Deep BW/ETL knowledge (data architecture, HANA optimization)
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FICO (or SAP ECC FICO) and SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting
• Good communication and mentoring skills
• Leadership and strategic planning capabilities
• Strong team management skills
