Job description

Responsibilities

• Receiving and reviewing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order details, and entering orders into the system.
• Monitoring inventory levels to ensure availability of products for fulfilling orders, coordinating with procurement or production teams to restock as needed.
• Tracking the status of orders throughout the fulfillment process, from picking and packing to shipping and delivery, and providing updates to customers as necessary.
• Arranging shipments with appropriate carriers or logistics partners, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of orders to customers.
• Responding to customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping details, or product availability, and resolving any issues or concerns related to order fulfillment.
• Conducting quality checks on products before they are shipped to ensure they meet customer requirements and quality standards.
• Addressing any issues or delays that arise during the order fulfillment process, such as inventory shortages, shipping delays, or order discrepancies, and finding solutions to resolve them efficiently.
• Generating reports on order fulfillment metrics such as order accuracy, on-time delivery performance, and inventory levels, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in the fulfillment process.

Qualifications

• Working experience in a supply chain function (e.g., purchasing, procurement, planning) and/or 3rd party logistics.
• Demonstrated flexibility and resilience in response to constraints, with the ability to respond constructively to new demands and challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all stakeholders, both internal and external, across the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to identify process improvements and implement effective solutions is a plus.
