Key Responsibilities

Network Setup, Configuration & Maintenance

• Configure, deploy, and support Cisco network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, routing/switching).
• Configure, deploy, and support Fortinet firewalls (policies, NAT, VPN, UTM features).
• Perform network troubleshooting for LAN/WAN issues, security incidents, and performance bottlenecks.
• Handle onsite and remote implementation for new projects, migration work, and network upgrades.

WiFi / Wireless Deployment

• Deploy and configure Wireless Access Points (APs) including SSIDs, VLAN tagging, roaming, guest access, and security settings.
• Conduct basic WiFi coverage optimisation (AP placement suggestions, interference troubleshooting).
• Support common WiFi requirements such as separate staff/guest networks, captive portal, bandwidth control, and access rules.

Required Technical Skills (Must-Have)

✅ Cisco

• Setup & configure Cisco switches (VLAN, trunking, STP, port security, basic routing)
• Experience configuring Cisco firewall

✅ Fortinet (FortiGate)

• Setup & configure firewall policies, NAT rules, security profiles

✅ WiFi / AP Setup

• Setup & configure wireless APs (SSID, VLANs, WPA2/WPA3, guest WiFi)
• Troubleshoot coverage, connectivity, and performance issues
