Job summary

A leading transportation company in Singapore is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist. The role focuses on enhancing L&D strategies, managing training programmes, and ensuring policies are up-to-date with regulations.   • Schedule and coordinate internal and external training courses.
  • Monitor and measure effectiveness of all employee training.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement innovative L&D initiatives to enhance overall L&D strategy

  • Review training programmes and courses to ensure alignment with organisational needs and emerging trends

  • Prepare reports on learning outcomes and training expenditureand budget

  • Schedule and coordinate training/course (both internal and external)

  • Monitor and measure effectiveness of all employee training

  • Maintain training records for audit purpose

  • Manage the learning system on SuccessFactors

  • Formulate new policies to align to business requirements and goals

  • Review existing policies to identify gaps, ambiguities, or outdated content

  • Update policies whenever there are changes in labor laws/regulations, industry practices, or internal policies

  • Communicate policy changes through handbooks, intranet updates, training sessions, or HR email bulletins

  • Maintain and organize a current repository of policies and revisions, tracking review dates and version history

  • Perform any ad hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business or related field

  • Minimally 2 years of relevant experience

  • Good communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft office

  • Able to work independently

  • Experience with SuccessFactors is an advantage
