Job description

Sankyu Singapore is on the move! We're entering an exciting period of growth, fueled by major expansion plans, including a new state-of-the-art warehouse facility slated to open in January 2026. To support our expanding logistics operations, we're looking for dedicated warehouse team members to join our growing Sankyu family!

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to transport goods within the warehouse or designated areas.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain the forklift in good operating condition.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of cargo during handling, preventing damage, toppling, or contamination.
• Accurately record and update all related documents and checklists.
• Perform all work in accordance with company standards and adhere to safety rules and regulations, as outlined in Work Instructions (WI) and Risk Assessments (RA).
• Retrieve and stuff cargo into containers, racks, or storage locations as directed by the Senior Foreman, following established storage rules.
• Perform other ad-hoc manual handling duties as needed, such as supporting packing operations, carrying bags (up to 25kg), applying labels, securing FC bags, preparing packing materials, and preparing container lashing.

Job Requirements and Expectations

• Minimum 1 year relevant experience.
• Must obtained a valid forklift driving license
• Proficient in basic English (written and spoken)
• Basic computer skills is an advantage
• Willingness to work overtime (OT) as required
• Ability to support any shift in the event of manpower shortages.
• Ability to operate machinery (training with be provided)

Work Arrangement

Day Shift

• 08:00 to 16:30 hrs (Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays)
• 08:00 to 12:00 hrs (Saturday excluding Public Holidays)

Afternoon Shift

• 14:30 to 23:00 hrs (Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays)
• 14:30 to 18:00 hrs (Saturday excluding Public Holidays)

Work Location

Jurong Island

Company's Transport Pick up

• Morning Shift: Jurong East Bus pick up point (beside Venture Drive) at 7am
• Afternoon Shift: JEM pick up point at 2pm
