Job summary

Job Description
  • To be positive role models to all residents
  • To provide care and supervision to the resident
  • To be a good listener to the residents and if needed, offer positive advice
  • To aid in basic development and change process of the residents
  • To ensure the safety of the residents at all times
  • To ensure that the residents are punctual and on time for activities and programmes
  • To treat every resident with dignity, respect and equality
  • As a team member, you are to be available at all times (whether on or off duty) to assist colleagues in need
  • To report to the designated Supervisor or Head of Operations
  • To abide by the Code of Conduct
  • To accompany the residents for activities when required
  • Be vigilant to the mood of resident(s) and behavioural changes
  • To ensure every resident adheres to rules and regulations
  • To undertake any other duties specified by Head of Home and senior management.
Technical Competencies
  • Minimum qualification - Diploma
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Immediate availability is advantageous

  • Willing to learn and is a good team player
  • Able to multi-task and possess initiative to respond to various situations
  • Able to perform shift work (overtime allowance) including weekends and public holidays
