Job Description
  • Prepare cost estimate from feasibility studies / pre-concept to detailed design stage.
  • Interpret and do taking off from architectural / engineering / interior design drawings and specifications for cost estimate.
  • Analyse and reconcile cost movement between various design stages.
  • Prepare tender documents including frontend and pricing schedule.
  • Evaluation of tender returns.
  • Administer post contract for construction works which includes to estimate for changes, assess variation orders, prepare interim valuations and close Final Account.
  • Provide advices on contractual claims.
  • Mentor junior QS staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the built environment industry.
  • Individuals of the highest caliber who are confident, driven and with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Site based, no work-from-home arrangement under normal circumstances.
  • Work independently under limited supervision.
  • Organized and able to handle stress.
