We excel in building the architecture, providing solutions, deployment and operations of data centers, connectivity, cloud, networking, servers, system, storage, software, platforms and security. As a Data Center Electrical Specialist, you will work with a team of innovators and technologists, together to create solutions that improve the way our business runs. You will play a key role in ensuring the design, review, and operation of reliable and efficient power systems for our new data center development. This role focuses on assisting in electrical design verification, supporting MV/HV protection studies, and exploring innovative technologies such as HVDC systems for future data center applications. You will also contribute to energy purchasing strategies and PPA evaluations to ensure sustainable long-term operations.


Job Description
  • Develop Data Center strategies that are aligned with business needs, including capacity planning, cost modeling, and lifecycle management.
  • Assist the Project Director in reviewing electrical designs, drawings, and specifications for HV/MV/LV/ELV systems.
  • Coordinate with consultants on substation, switchgear, UPS, and generator design reviewsli>
  • Support MV/HV protection studies, load flow analysis, and selectivity coordination.
  • Conduct technical and financial assessments for Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and energy procurement.
  • Research and evaluate HVDC system feasibility for next-generation data center design.
  • Interface with utilities (SP PowerGrid, EMA) for authority submissions and compliance.
  • Participate in FAT, SAT, and integrated testing (IST) of electrical systems.
  • Maintain documentation and assist in the development of lifecycle operation and maintenance standards.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering / Facilities Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Center Design Consultant / M& E Contractor / Product Manager / Solution Architect in Power Plant, Generation, Telco, Cloud, IT, critical infrastructure or power transmission space.
  • Focus on Data Center Power System is preferred, with a good understanding of HV/MV system design, protection, and operation.
  • Strong analytical ability for energy cost modeling and PPA evaluation.
  • Knowledge of HVDC systems is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications from Professional Engineers Board / Uptime Institute (e.g. ATD / ATS) / TIA-942 (e.g. CDCP / CDCS) are a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven; capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player, able to work well across teams and organizations.
  • Resourceful and well-connected within the Data Center market is an advantage.
