An engineering company in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a data control role that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Engineering projects, particularly in Piping or Instrument disciplines. The successful applicant will manage tagging requirements, maintain data quality, and create reports. Familiarity with engineering project management systems and tools is essential. Coordinates with Information Manager to submit data related to Technical Queries (TQ), as well as to manage and maintain Master Tag List for various engineering disciplines in a project to comply with tagging requirements. Ensures that all tagging requirements and association for engineering and supplier documentation/drawing, checking requirements for data properties is appropriate to the ‘type of tag’. Participates in discussion and meeting to understand client and internal project requirements for data collection, reporting and turnover, as well as to provide update and status on data turnover and final delivery/ handover. Ensures tags associated to the documents are progressively built in the Client’s information management system master tag database, checking and verifying the quality of the imported tags and data attributes. Coordinates with section lead to resolve inconsistent, missing, or incorrect tag and data information, and responsible for the maintenance of log for data issues and project resolution. Creates data completion (progress) and quality reports in Client’s information management system as per project requirement, providing weekly report on progress, issues and other arising matter. Participates in seminars and other educational opportunities to keep abreast of latest technologies and development in project management information system, recommending process improvement. Monitors and analyses occurring and reccurring problems, developing trends to identify critical and common problems, justifying areas for further improvements. Consolidates feedbacks from stakeholders, providing professional response to improve project information management system delivery processes, tools and service capabilities.
