Job description

Responsibilities:

• Provide training and education for nursing staff, students, and volunteers, ensuring alignment with MOH requirements and organisational needs.

• Establish and maintain an optimal clinical learning environment, including planning and evaluating preceptorship schemes for new staff.

• Organise, implement, and evaluate unit-based and specialty training programmes to support competency development.

• Act as a clinical resource person to Nurse Managers, ensuring patient care delivery aligns with established standards and best practices.

• Support nursing standards development, assess staff competencies, and apply principles to prevent medico-legal issues in patient care.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing, with a Specialist Diploma in Clinical Education preferred.

• Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).

• Minimum of 6 years of clinical care experience.

• Strong background in clinical training, education, and competency assessment.
