DBS’ Private Banking offers a one‑stop, full‑service touchpoint for total banking requirements and provides the highest level of personalised banking. We have a team of dedicated, experienced investment advisors who identify opportunities in the various asset classes and employ the best strategies and product vehicles to cater to each client’s needs. Coupled with partnerships within the DBS network and with global institutions, we strive to build long‑term relationships with our Private Banking clients in Asia by providing them with high quality, timely and extensive wealth management, investment and financial solutions.

Responsibilities
  • To support Marketing team’s targets at meeting their financial budgets
  • To support the scope of dealing activities for self‑directed clients who require prompt access into the markets
  • To provides a central function to both internal and external clients & support on dealing related matters on the equities, fixed income & structured products
  • To increase revenue across centres where feasible
  • To provide value‑add and quality service to both internal and external clients, including managing calls from trading hotline
  • To provide a platform of proficient and efficient trade executions
  • Trade monitoring, reconciliation, investigation and prompt reporting of trades
  • Address & assist with the dealing related queries and issues of all clients
  • Address & assist with the process of cross-bookings into the respective centres
  • Assist with the smooth process flows of traded products & securities to the back‑end
  • Strict adherence with the banking and exchange regulations, policies, guidelines. Maintaining them without breaches and incidences
  • Liaison with the relevant departments on the formal notification for any audit & trail
  • Vendor liaison, to have productive communication flows with approved brokers and counterparties
  • Assist in UAT testing for system enhancements/new initiatives
Requirements
  • Degree Holder in Finance, Business or Accounting with at least 5‑10 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Team player with good organizational and communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast‑moving environment
  • Good customer orientation and able to handle client’s issues promptly
  • Understanding and observance of control, risk and banking regulations, with a good eye for detail and a strong control mindset
  • Equity and FI knowledge will be an advantage
  • CACS (1 & 2) and FMRP are pre‑requisites to perform this role and candidates must be prepared to obtain these certification if selected for the role
