Job description
  • This position is for School of Economics.
  • Marketing and Outreach
    • Represent SOE PG programmes at local and international promotional events, and run information sessions both locally as well as at partner universities.
    • Source and have one-on-one discussions with potential applicants, either face to face ('coffee chats'), telephone, Skype or other means of communications.
    • Assist in the organization and development of marketing materials for SOE PG programmes.
    • Assist in the development of marketing strategies, provide appropriate advice to potential applicants, and collect relevant market intelligence.
    • Assist in any matters relating to recruitment and admission management.
  • Partnership Collaboration
    • Explore potential partnerships with international universities for collaboration and facilitates the communication and discussions.
    • Follow up with partner universities for information sessions, visits and student inquiries.
  • System Integration and Data Management
    • Managing and ensuring the smooth transition of work processes to new systems like CX Oracle Sales, Act-on Integration and other marketing platforms.
    • Oversee website migration and working with teams to improve user experience and maintain a dynamic web presence.
  • China Scholarship Council (CSC) Scholars
    • Facilitate the handling and coordination of the CSC scholar's applications.
    • Liaise with the visitors, SoE host faculty and OHR for onboarding and offboarding matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • College degree in business (or other business disciplines) along with a minimum of 4 years work experience.
  • Excellent written and communication skill. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred for this role as the candidate is expected to engage with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Relevant marketing and admissions' experience in academia preferred.
  • Familiarity with demographics, trends and business etiquettes of Southeast Asia.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments independently; confidence in troubleshooting abilities and good judgement in escalating/alerting concerns.
  • Strong time management and project management skills
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong attention to details and high accuracy in work quality.
  • Team player with a 'can-do' resilient spirit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity and the ability to interface with Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, ARIBA, Concur and Act-On.
