Job summary

A trading company in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Driver. The role involves assisting with loading and unloading goods, ensuring timely transportation to various outlets. Candidates must have a valid Class 3 driving license and experience in a delivery role. Preferably, applicants will have good knowledge of the road network and effective communication skills. This is a permanent position with a 5.5-day work week.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of experience driving trucks, preferably in a delivery role.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavier items during loading and unloading tasks.
• Valid Class 3 driving license in Singapore, with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading goods from the truck.
• Transport goods to various outlets ensuring timely delivery.
• Collect delivery confirmations and invoices if required.
• Cover the duties of the driver during his absence.

Skills

Ability to read English

Experience in FMCG

Good knowledge of Singapore's road network

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in loading and unloading goods from the truck, ensuring proper handling and storage to avoid damage.

· Transport goods to various outlets while ensuring timely and safe delivery according to scheduled routes.

· Collect delivery confirmations, invoices, or payments if required.

· Cover the duties of the driver during his absence at times.

· Perform additional tasks as required.

Requirements

· Ability to read English and understand delivery instructions, and communicate effectively with colleagues.

· Experienced in FMCG (B2B) will be an added advantage.

· At least 1-2 years of experience driving trucks, preferably in a delivery role.
