Job summary

An investment banking and brokerage firm in Singapore is looking for a candidate to manage trading limits and support credit management processes. Job Scope
  • Review and adjust trading limits for clients and Trading Representatives, ensuring compliance with credit policies and ensuring compliance requirements
  • Monitor clients’ and Trading Representatives’ exposures and prevent breaches of approved limits
  • Conduct credit assessment and prepare recommendation for permanent trading limit requests from the Trading Representaives
  • Streamline workflow and reduce processing turnaround time through process optimisation and digitalisation initiatives in Credit Management
  • Coordinate and executed force-selling for unsettled trades
  • Review daily trade/ contract amendments and cash withdrawals requests from the Trading Representatives
  • Coordinate with Trading Representatives for contra losses recovery and client payment issues, if any
  • Assist Trading Representatives’ queries on credit related matters
  • Support Manager & HOD on ad-hoc tasks and departmental projects, including digital transformation efforts in Credit Management
Requirements
  • Fresh graduate or mid-career candidate are welcome to apply
  • Diploma/Degree in Banking and Finance, Business &/or Accounting with strong knowledge of equities, bonds, trade and related financial products. Experience in optimizing workflows and supporting digitalization of credit process (preferred)
  • Analytical, detailed oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency: VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, data validation, macros/automation.
  • Effective communicator with cross-functional stakeholder engagement experience.
