Job description

The Analyst, Product (General Insurance) manages rep policy lodgements, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and claims, ensuring smooth operations and keeping representatives well-informed. The role also supports process improvements, accurate data management, product comparisons, and follow-ups on outstanding premiums.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for General Insurance operations, including policy administration,
  • process optimization, and ensuring efficient customer service.
  • Handle policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and claims efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for compliance and operational
  • tracking.
  • Identify inefficiencies, propose workflow improvements, and support automation initiatives for enhanced efficiency.
  • Coordinate with insurers, representatives, and internal teams to ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy and timely updates in the internal CRM portal and SGA Resource Library.
  • Assist with the proper functioning of the internal GI portal.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide prompt and effective servicing support for the salesforce.
  • Provide training support to the Product Team when required.
  • Provide product comparison support to the Product Team when required
  • Handle and manage GI outstanding premiums.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Insurance certifications (BCP, ComGI, PGI)
  • Ability to multi-task in a team environment while able to work independently
  • Good analytical, communication and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to relate at different levels
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
