Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts & Operations Assistant with working experience and confidence using Tally accounting software, along with a sound understanding of Singapore accounting practices . The ideal candidate will support daily finance operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant bookkeeping and reporting.

Key Accounting Responsibilities
  • Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting entries in Tally Software
  • Maintain and reconcile purchase, sales, journal, and expense ledgers
  • Prepare invoices, manage billing cycles, and track accounts receivable / payments
  • Handle AP / AR functions, accounting reconciliations, and balance confirmations
  • Assist with GST-related entries and reporting aligned with Singapore requirements
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and daily cash flow records
  • Support inventory reconciliation and audit documentation
  • Perform other accounting tasks as assigned by management
Understanding of Singapore Accounting :
  • Familiarity with Singapore GST system (filing support, entries, and compliance)
  • Knowledge of IRAS guidelines , invoice formats, and documentation standards
  • Awareness of CPF, staff claims, expense policies , and corporate compliance norms (advantage)
Administrative & Operational Support :
  • Assist with invoice generation, operations paperwork, and order documentation
  • Coordinate vendor communications, payment follow-ups, and documentation
  • Support management with reports, correspondence, and internal tracking tasks
Requirements :
  • Time-efficient, organised, and dependable
  • Positive and coachable attitude
  • High attention to detail and integrity
  • Experience with Tally preferred
  • Practical experience in accounting / bookkeeping
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial documentation
  • Good understanding of Singapore accounting requirements
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
