The role entails preparing bank reconciliations, compiling monthly management accounts, and processing payroll. Proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks, along with effective communication in Mandarin and LCCI Intermediate Accounting certification, is essential. Qualifications

You will manage comprehensive accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance, supporting business growth through timely and precise financial data management.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full sets of accounts up to the balance sheet to ensure accurate financial records
  • Prepare bank reconciliations to verify cash balances and identify discrepancies
  • Compile monthly management accounts to provide actionable financial insights for decision-making
  • Execute quarterly GST reporting to maintain compliance with tax regulations
  • Process monthly payroll accurately to ensure timely employee compensation
  • Ensure statutory compliance and submit timely reports to government bodies and statutory boards
  • Collaborate effectively with external auditors and tax agents to facilitate audits and tax filings
  • Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned to support business operations
Required competencies and certifications
  • Proficient in using Xero and QuickBooks accounting software to manage financial transactions and reporting
  • Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Possess LCCI Intermediate Accounting certification or higher to demonstrate accounting knowledge
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic work environment to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities
