Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, using a point-of-sale (POS) system to record orders precisely.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that orders are delivered hot or cold as appropriate and in a timely manner.
- Assist guests with menu selections, providing information about menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens, as well as offering recommendations.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure their dining experience meets their expectations, addressing any issues or requests promptly.
- Clear and reset tables between guests, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Handle guest payments accurately, processing cash, credit, or mobile payments through the POS system.
- Support kitchen staff by coordinating order timing and communicating special requests or dietary needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, following proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in restocking service areas, ensuring supplies such as utensils, napkins, and condiments are always available.
- Participate in opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down service areas and preparing for the next shift.
