Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Job Summary

The OT Technician will assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff in the operation theatre by preparing instruments, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring smooth execution of surgical procedures in compliance with Saudi healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operation Theatre Support: Prepare OT equipment, instruments, and surgical supplies before procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during operations as required.
  • Ensure proper handling, cleaning, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments.
  • Sterilization & Safety: Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
  • Ensure OT cleanliness and readiness for all procedures.
  • Handle biomedical waste according to hospital policy.
  • Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain OT equipment including lights, tables, suction machines, monitors, and anesthesia accessories.
  • Report equipment malfunction and coordinate repairs.
  • Documentation & Coordination: Maintain OT records, instrument counts, and procedure logs.
  • Coordinate with CSSD and nursing staff for instrument availability.

  • Diploma or Certificate in OT Technology / Operation Theatre Technology.
  • Valid license or certification from home country.
