This role focuses on driving sales of GreenLake Flex solutions to a set of clients, requiring deep understanding of the ‘As A Service’ market and consultative selling skills. Candidates should have 8-12 years of advanced sales experience and demonstrate success in business development and customer relationship management. This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Sales Specialists & Consultants are product, services, software or solution specialists that are responsible for leading pursuit in their assigned focus areas. Collaborates with and supports Account Managers and provides specialist expertise within the sales team. Drives proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, uses specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities. May have named accounts allocated, cover a designated geography, or may be allocated to one high-potential, competitive attack account.
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.
is responsible for selling our Greenlake Flex solutions across the full HPE technology portfolio to an assigned set of clients. The position requires a solid understanding of the As A Service market, clear knowledge of the competitive cloud offerings and how customers leverage consumption services and a technology stack to create clear competitive advantage. Knowledge of market creation activities along with customer development to grow existing market share is also required. The Greenlake Sales Specialist develops consultative customer proposals, tailoring strategy and solutions to meet the needs of the customer. They understand the customer’s business challenges /objectives to provide value added services and solutions. In some instances these specialists may also be responsible for managed services deals that fit the HPE strategy and capability.
