Transportation & Delivery Supervisor

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Transportation & Delivery Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the transportation and delivery operations of our company, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods to customers in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Ensure all delivery vehicles are properly maintained and serviced
• Manage a team of delivery drivers, providing guidance and support as needed
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to drivers
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes and reduce transportation costs
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient delivery processes
• Communicate with customers to address any delivery issues or concerns
• Ensure compliance with all transportation and delivery regulations and laws
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock
• Prepare and submit reports on transportation and delivery activities to senior management

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation and delivery operations, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of transportation and delivery regulations and laws
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
