Key Responsibilities :
1. IoT System Deployment & Integration
- Assist in the deployment and integration of IoT devices and solutions within the Smart City project.
- Configure, test, and validate IoT devices, gateways, and communication networks.
- Ensure seamless integration with Smart City platforms and applications.
2. Technical Support & Operations
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for deployed IoT systems.
- Monitor system health, diagnose issues, and implement timely solutions.
- Maintain logs and records of incidents, resolutions, and system performance.
- Open and coordinate support tickets with IT, network, and development teams as needed.
3. System Monitoring & Issue Resolution
- Continuously monitor IoT device performance, connectivity, and data flow.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues proactively.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve critical technical issues.
4. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Coordination
- Gather and analyze technical requirements for IoT implementations.
- Assist in translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, vendors, and clients to ensure expectations are met.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare detailed technical and operational reports.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IoT devices, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer and internal training materials.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve IoT system performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Recommend enhancements or optimizations for Smart City applications.
- Support analytics initiatives related to IoT data, energy efficiency, and smart services.
Qualifications & Skills :
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience :
- 3–6 years of experience in IoT deployment, technical support, or Smart City projects.
- Hands-on experience with IoT devices, sensors, and networked systems.
- Familiarity with Smart City solutions or urban IoT platforms is preferred.
Technical Skills :
- Knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, Modbus, REST APIs, LoRaWAN).
- Basic understanding of networking, cloud platforms, and database management.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation capabilities.
